I just got off the phone with Chris George (Tournament Director).  Please be alerted the lake level at Texoma this last weekend (2/23-24) was very low.   He  received reports that the main ramp at Catfish bay is dangerous..  The reports are that trailers are dropping off the end of the ramp.  If the situation does not change between now and March 6, this situation will be discusssed at the Board of Directors meeting.  If you have any questions please call Chris at 1-405-821-0873.

The 2007 OAU Championship is scheduled October 20-21 at Lake Eufaula.  There is a manditory meeting at 7:00 PM that one member from each team must attend on Friday evening October 19, 2007 at Eufaula Cove North Pavillion.  For all the details on entry fees, payout structure and more information please click here.

Urgent - Your Action Needed.  I received an email from Don Linder that if you own a boat you must read.  He received the original notification from Chris Horton and since it is a boating issue and not an organizational issue it needs to be passed along to as many boat owners as possible.  I am in a meeting in Mexico and can not include the attachment, so I will do my best to provide you the bottomline.

Recreational boaters need to take IMMEDIATE action and notify their senators to make recreational boats exempt from the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit requirement. Without the exception this new law could affect all boats with outboards and bilge pumps (9-27-2007).  If we do not take fast action and get recreational boats exempt this new law could cost each of you an up to an additional $800.00 USD yearly.

I will follow this up with a mass mailing to our organization.
